This extension in inner Fitzroy creates a special environment whilst working to a modest budget and constrained site. Within the strict heritage overlays of the area a discrete insertion into the existing house was made, complimenting and subtly challenging the existing formal language of the house and through internal replanning combined with clever material usage, creating new spaces both large and small, appropriate to the needs of the client.
