A field of possibilities
This project was a long term study for the sustainable development of a large, sensitive area of land on the Great Ocean Road. An exhaustive analysis of the landscape was followed by ‘testing’ a suite of potential projects such as eco-tourism, a research centre, improved public walking infrastructures and remote accommodation.
The project involved the coordination of high level design values with a new planning framework, heritage issues and rural management. This project was a hybrid design consultancy and university research project, with the early engagement of stakeholders and authorities.
