The box bursts open on its eastern side too look over a magnificent cultivated landscape. The living spaces and a big balcony face this valley aspect. The house features the full range of low energy strategies including solar collection, water recycling, and a radiant heated floor on the upper level.

Construction is being carried out by its tenacious owners, making the work a very low cost exercise. Construction is progressing on the owner built house at The Patch.
