ANTARCTICA worked with the team at Baw Baw Shire to
design and document a freestanding wall for the Trafalgur
Skate Park. This project aims to provide both protection
and privacy for the users of the skate park in addition to
encouraging community participation of the space through
the opportunity to decorate the wall over time.
The form of the wall reads from afar as a fragment of
city fabric, providing some camouflage in many ways. On
closer inspection the form is akin to a city wall protecting
its inhabitants and providing a sense of ownership
