Public open space at Kings Square is split by programmatic areas and circulation paths. This site will benefit from the wall that precisely delimits space, unifying the square.The proposed scheme will complete the perimeter of the site along William Street, creating a lane and exposing the facade of the town Hall. Creating a gateway at the intersection of High Street and Queen Street will delineate Kings Square and offer a containment of program and space.Queen Street is the axis that connects to Fremantle Station. By rendering the edges of Kings Square more prominently, it will establish a visual reference with the station.
